107A BT — Virtual on Line General and Household Pest Training

This General Pest Control Initial Training course is delivered over a 6hour training session with breaks and lunch break. It allows participants the time and structure necessary to fully understand the material—rather than rushing through minimum requirements. This program is not a continuing education (CEU) course and should not be taken for credit purposes. One registration includes Initial Training in lieu of 40-hour requirement certificate that will be issued upon completion. While the state requires a minimum of six (6) hours of training, this course can overrun that time slightly. This additional time is intentional and reflects our commitment to delivering thorough, practical, and professionally relevant training. The expanded format allows for deeper discussion, real-world application, and clarification of critical concepts essential to safe, effective, and compliant General Pest Control and Household Pest Control management and pesticide application. This course is designed for individuals who value quality instruction, long-term success, and a strong foundational understanding, not simply meeting the minimum requirement. Participants leave better prepared, more confident, and better equipped to perform professionally in the field.

Important Registration Information Do not register for this course if you are seeking recertification credits to maintain an existing New Jersey Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) certification. This course is intended for individuals pursuing initial NJ WDI pesticide certification and serves as the classroom training required for exam eligibility. Participants must attend the class using a desktop computer or laptop equipped with a working camera and audio. Cell phones are not acceptable as the primary device. To receive a certificate of completion, participants must: Be logged in and ready to begin at the scheduled start time. Remain visible on camera throughout the entire class, except during scheduled breaks. Follow all instructor directions and adhere to the scheduled break times. Meet all attendance and participation requirements. A Zoom link and class instructions will be emailed to registered participants the day before the scheduled class. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion, which is required for admission to the New Jersey WDI Pesticide Certification Examination.
