101 BT VT — Basic Training / Topics VIRTUAL ON LINE

This is Basic Training or Topics class for 1) Operators or Applicators. 2) Those needing to take the CORE exam to become a certified applicator. 3) If you require CORE CEU's. The class is the first required course in NJ for Pesticide Training. Operators/ Applicators need to take this class. It is slightly over 4 hours of training, and it is done via Computer online live. Basics of pesticide training in NJ including laws, testing, safety, storage, disposal, records, NJ Categories, PPE, State and National Rules and Regulations are covered. 107A BT VT Part 1 — Virtual on Line General and Household Pest Training

This is Part one of the Required Training Course in lieu of the 40 hour on the job training for Pesticide NJ Category 7A, General and Household Pest Control. The second part is course 107A BT VT Part 2. One must sign up for both to get the Certificate for NJ Category 7A. The combination of both part one and part 2 courses are used for entrance to the NJ Pesticide exam for category 7A testing. It is held over two consecutive days. The first day is 4 hours live and virtual. The second day is under 4 hours live and virtual.

103B BTVT 1 — IPM METHODS FOR TURF & TURF DISEASES VIRTUAL ON LINE In Lieu of OTJ

This is the first of two classes that replaces the NJ On the Job requirement for Turf category 3B. The cost covers both days. We will examine disease control options including standard control products and IPM options and ID of the many diseases attack the health of turf. This course is taught online, live and interactive, in a virtual classroom using Zoom. Students can see the instructor, each other, hear each other, use chat, use screen drawing. The instructor can control the audio of each participant and the video as well as whether they can draw on the screen. NJ requires a photo ID and all cameras to be on for the entire Webinar and we must record the log in and the entire class presentation. One must have the proper working equipment to participate. It is the second part for those who are taking Ornamental training in lieu of 40 hours on the job training. The class is done in one 7-hour time day. A certificate in 3A training is supplied at the completion of the course which is required to apply for the category 3A exam.

This is part two of NJ Category 7A, (General and Household Pest Training). It is the second part of training in lieu of the 40 hours on the job training requirement. Use this class to gain your certificate for Category 7A so one can take the Category 7A exam. A Certificate will be awarded to be used as entry for the Category 7A exam. This registration does not award CEU's. This class is part 2 and one must register for both 107A BT VT part 1 and 107A BT VT part 2 to complete the entire class.
