This class is for CREDITS and those who are seeking the Continuing Education Units. (CEU's) The Credits listed should be using this for REGISTRATION. Only register for this class if you have a pesticide license and are seeking credits. This is a single day course registration. The credits are listed below.

This is a two-day initial training course for New Jersey Category 3A Ornamental Pesticide Application. Completion of this course fulfills the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) 40-hour training requirement for Category 3A Ornamental Pesticide Certification. Upon successful completion, participants will receive an NJDEP training certificate, which is required for eligibility to sit for the NJ Category 3A Ornamental Pesticide Certification Examination.

Only register for this class if you have a pesticide license and are seeking CEU's Continuing Education Credits. This is a single day course registration. The credits are approved by NJ DEP. NJ requires a government issued photo ID and all cameras to be on for the entire Webinar and we must record the log in and the entire class presentation. One must have the proper working equipment to participate. Latecomers will not be awarded credit and are not eligible for a refund. Your Log in ID will be sent the day prior to the class date.

This class qualifies as NJ Pesticide Basic Training (CORE Topics) and can be used for: NJ Basic Pesticide Training Certificate for Operators seeking a certificate to obtain an operator license while working under the direct supervision of a NJ Certified Applicator. NJ Basic Training Certificate for individuals preparing to take the CORE exam to become a NJ Certified Applicator. CORE credit for Certified Applicators needing Basic Safety and Handling credits. This class provides the full 8 CORE credits required to meet the 5-year minimum CEU requirement. If you are new to pest control and wish to become a Certified Applicator, you must take this CORE class before taking any Category class. The course is a little over 4 hours, conducted live online via computer. Topics include NJ pesticide laws, testing requirements, safety, storage, disposal, recordkeeping, NJ categories, PPE, and state and federal regulations. NY and PA usually offer credits for this class as well. Once those states review and approve the application, the credit information will appear in the class description.
