This class qualifies as NJ Pesticide Basic Training (CORE Topics) and can be used for: NJ Basic Pesticide Training Certificate for Operators seeking a certificate to obtain an operator license while working under the direct supervision of a NJ Certified Applicator. NJ Basic Training Certificate for individuals preparing to take the CORE exam to become a NJ Certified Applicator. CORE credit for Certified Applicators needing Basic Safety and Handling credits. This class provides the full 8 CORE credits required to meet the 5-year minimum CEU requirement. If you are new to pest control and wish to become a Certified Applicator, you must take this CORE class before taking any Category class. The course is a little over 4 hours, conducted live online via computer. Topics include NJ pesticide laws, testing requirements, safety, storage, disposal, recordkeeping, NJ categories, PPE, and state and federal regulations.
